It was a hot day filled with sun, fun, and more bacon than a Charlotte’s Web convention!
Sports Com was the site for this tasty and unique festival this past weekend, and yours truly was on hand to see the sights, sounds, and smells of one of the world’s greatest foods!
There was so much to see. Arts and crafts. The most food trucks I have seen in one places in Murfreesboro! (surprising since it was on city property) Even some live music under one of the pavilions.
There was a lot of people there in the early part of the day. I’m not sure if the crowd capacity was adequately prepared for. I didn’t see anyone directing traffic. There was a huge field available for parking near the festivities, but towards the entrance people were parking on the curbs, in the medians, on the grass…just everywhere. Better signage and some folks directing traffic next year would be an improvement. Also, several of the trash cans stayed overflowing, and I never saw anyone going around picking up loose garbage. These are some minor points however, that I am sure will be addressed next year.
There were too many vendors for me to really spend time there (or here) talking about each one. Instead, this is going to be a mostly pictoral report. Owner info will be in the captions for each, and give them all your love and attention. Apologies to anyone I don’t mention here. There were more vendors than I had time to cover, and I tried to concentrate on food thingies.I’m gonna split the galleries up into two posts. Look for the next one on Wednesday!
A pleasure to meet you and thank you so much for the pictures and shout out!… we will be right down the road in woodbury in a couple weeks.
Great to see you too! Looking forward to seeing you again.
